Victoria’s tenants beware of landlords/property managers/realtors/homeowners/ anybody who collects rent from tenants LIST.
These people & businesses have been put on this list due to the fact that they have place tenants/consumers lives in danger for monetary/personal gain. And/or intimidated, and/or threatened tenants/consumers, and/or deformed the tenants/consumers character or charge to much rent for the condition of rental units.
Due to the lack of housing many reality companies, property management companies, landlords and homeowners have found loopholes to aid themselves and create a turn around. For example; multiple evictions + not pay damage deposit back = get rich quick scam. Illegal suites + not pay taxes on income = get rich scam.
And there are more loopholes such as questionable activities such as the way the Residential Tenancy Office (RTO) conducts business between tenants/consumers and landlords/property managers. RTO Court hearings on a telephone are absurd.
